Key Takeaways

On the issue of Race and Violence in Our Cities, Democrats were more intensely in agreement with Joe Biden than were Republicans with Donald Trump’s responses. In fact, Republican ratings of Joe Biden’s responses showed a lack of strong negativity. Independents were again in the middle although more closely following the ratings provided by Republicans. As has been seen in other surveys, issues involving race and violence in America are issues that divide Independents and issues that Donald Trump shows a slight advantage.
