APP Design & Layout Testing
Mercury offers technology that enables the testing of smart phone and tablet APP layouts and wire-frame designs, permitting respondents to be immersed in a top-level interaction with an APP before it is actually developed. Within a standard survey, respondents “click on” and navigate through simulated APP screens and operation in a manner that gives the general feel of ‘playing with’ a real APP. All respondent clicks and the time on each page are logged as survey data.
Mercury’s APP testing capability allows respondents to experience the look, general operation and navigation of the simulated elements of an APP. As a result, respondents can be asked to provide valuable feedback as to general interest, look and design, navigation and many other critical insights. By also knowing the number of times pages were visited and the time spent per page, developers will be provided with invaluable insight to guide the creation of a well-targeted and optimized APP.
Multiple APP designs could be split-sampled and tested within a single survey allowing different competing designs to be reviewed and compared.
