Auto Training of Respondents
An interactive training capability is available that shows and teaches respondents how to rate an audio or video clip in under 60 seconds.
Programmable Ratings Scales
The ratings scale is programmable so some respondents could rate how much they like or don't like what they are watching while others rate how much they trust what they are watching.
Optimal Viewing Quality
Videos are presented in the same relative size on every screen so that each respondent enjoys a similar viewing experience, regardless of whether a screen is low or high resolution.
Keep Rating Reminder
Respondents are reminded automatically to keep rating if they are idle for too long, a timing parameter that is also programmable.
Optional hot-buttons can be defined that allow respondents to also indicate when something critical to understand occurs, such as when a respondent would "change the channel" or "buy the product".
While no security technology is full-proof, Mercury utilizes proprietary security technology that will prevent almost all respondents from being able to record the video.
Real-time Dial-Test Visualization and Analytics
As the survey is fielding, highly visual dial-test results are available at the Analytics Workbench, that identify the precise moments of strength and weakness, among any audience segments you define - even moments of polarization. Advanced analytics provide real-time quantitative analysis of video ratings as well.
